Unfortunately the hype doesn’t add up to much. Firstly, the prose is good, and workman-like that serves its purpose.
There are just too many problems..
1. There just isn’t much of a plot.
2. It moves very slowly, to the extent that I gave up after 72%.
3. The characters all merge together, nobody has any real character.
4. Nothing really exciting happens.
